7th week....audio editing

audio editing..something valuable that pn. foziah taught us this week. i learned more that i could produce materials that use audio more often for my upcoming teaching aids.

there are many effects that i could use to produce an effective teaching materials for the children. i could take benefit from this week lesson as i found it very valuable.

madam assigned us some tasks to be done in order to assess our level of understanding on audio editing. i found that most of the tasks could be done in such a fun way.

the week before holiday ......6th

pn. foziah taught us a new way of teaching..that is by using and creating your own e-book. e-book is easy and effective used to teach pupils as the message conveyed through e-book as as it is easily obtained by thre pupils as it is fun and enjoyable to the pupils.

that day, she instructed us to do the draft of our own e-book and she wanted to check before we further involve in the producing of the e-book. it was our next assignment . i drafted mine and showed it to her. she made some adjustment and give me the green light to do my e-book.

we were required to do creatively and come up with originality...that's what we are going to do!!

wonderful week...it's the fifth now

today, madam gave us some work on internet skills..she showed us about photoshop. she wanted us to try it out. as we explore, we find that it is very interesting. there are many creative thing we can do with it.

she also gave us assignments that we can retrieve in the skydrive..we are very determine to finish all the tasks given as we know at the end of the day, we will gain benefits and use the knowledge to teach better in future.

i hope next week, we will learn new skills and enjoy ourselves...

My 4th week of resources class

PN.FOZIAH JUST IN FOR CLASS FOR A WHILE THAT DAY BECAUSE SHE HAS ANOTHER WORK. THAT DAY, WE WERE ASSIGNED TO DO THE TASKS THAT SHE GAVE LAST WEEK. THERE ARE A LOT OF WORK FOR US TO COMPLETE. SO, DURING THE THREE HOURS PERIOD, I SUCCEED TO COMPLETE FOUR TASKS. I WAS RELIEVED BECAUSE I HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO THE WORKS WHILE THE LECTURER WAS AWAY. IT WOULD GIVE ME LESS WORK TO DO DURING THE WEEKENDS.
BUT, THERE ARE MORE WORK BESIDES THE MODULE. WE ALSO WERE ASSISN TO DO 10 SUMMARIES OF 10 TEXTS. IN GOUPS, WE DISTRIBUTE THE TASKS AND COMPLETE IT BEFORE NEXT WEEK. I FINISHED MY SUMMARY JUST 3 HOURS AGO. RIGHT NOW, I'M DOING MY REFLECTION FOR THE FOURTH WEEK.
I HOPE THAT I COULD COMPLETE ALL THE TASKS IN TIME. ANYWAY I DO FIND THAT THIS SUBJECT HAS A LOTTO OFFER. I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO LEARN MORE THROUGHOUT THIS SUBJECT.

third week of resources class..

this 3rd week is a very challenging as i had fever.that day during class, pn. Foziah taught us on how to use internet skills.. we need to show all the steps in accomplishing the task. i took some time to understand, but with my friends' help, i was able to complete the task. then, madam explained that there are many things that we can co by using internet skills. she gave us lists of internet skills modules such as websearch, downloading, encoding, converting files, and much more. all of us need to complete these tasks in 2 weeks time if i am not mistaken. i hope my fever wouldn,t be in the way of finishing the works...

it's the second week already..

that day, madam gave us a a kind of form that we need to fill..it's like a questionnaire. while i was answering some of the questions, i found that the questionnaire reflects my understanding of the skills i have on using resources in my teaching . i gain self-consciousnesss that there are to much skills that i haven't mastered yet. madam said that at the end of the course, all of us shouls mastered all the skills. i was happy to hear that. then we were assigned to read 'capasity' text. we discussed the contain of the text and do our powerpoint presentation. we gained better understanding on the topic. i hope next week, we'll learn more about using resources in teaching.

my reflection on my first day on resources class - week1

The first day of resources class, i wonder what the subject is all about. it was a first time exposure to me. i never thought such programme exists.. after i went through the class for that day, i realized that the course is very important for me. it is about using technology in learning and teaching. it teach us to develop skills to create our own ways and approaches to teach the pupils. in the beginning of the lesson, the lecturers asked us to list all the ideas of the uses of technology in using ICT. all of us gave many ict technology or resources uses. the lecturer made me realized that most pupils nowadays are ict advanced. we, as teachers must have the ability to use technology that catch the pupils' attention so that they focus to our lesson and doesn't get bored easily.

Puan Foziah introduce me to something that connects us around the world such as friendster and facebook, which is blogging.this web has lot to give us. if we don't use it meaningfully, we would waste the opportunity to grasp the advantage that we have to make our life easier. the most important of all, we have the chance to teach and to guide the pupils to be individuals who are balanced academically and morally by using technology in our teachings.

Then we learn to create our own blog. another way to connect with people around the world, especially my cohort 4. this time, i was assigned to have my own blog where i wrote out my personal details, wrote my own blog and have the chance to know myself better and connect with my friends. we exchanged thoughts frequently..in this web world, we could express our feelings freely..that was what good about it.

This is my first reflection on the first lecture and i hope that i could gain knowledge as much as i can so that i have the ability to teach better and efffectively..also boost my confidence that i am a 'teacher'.
